Originally from Montgomery, AL, I moved to Tuscaloosa after high school and attended The University of Alabama where I received my Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. After graduation, I moved to Birmingham and took a job as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at UAB Sports Medicine in Children’s Hospital. Here I worked clinically as a physician extender to three sports medicine surgeons and spent time covering John Carroll High School. In 2021, I enrolled in the Executive Master of Healthcare Administration Program at UAB and graduated in August of 2023 with my Master of Science in Healthcare Administration. Soon after, I took the job of Administrator for UAB Sports & Exercise Medicine where I work today! In my spare time I love to read, attend sporting events, eat my way through the Birmingham restaurant scene and participate on community committees and boards.
