The Bill is Back!

The Alabama Legislature began their 2021 Regular Session on Tuesday, February 2. On the agenda was Senate Bill 73 (SB 73), and it was referred to the Governmental Affairs Committee. In a big step for modernizing the language for Athletic Trainers in Alabama, the bill was voted on and approved by the committee and is now headed to a full Senate vote. Now it is time for all of us to act and ensure that the voices of Athletic Trainers in Alabama are heard. Contact your local state legislators and ask them to support SB 73 and the forward progress of the Athletic Training profession.
